UN PARTNERSHIPS EXPO

he United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, the United Nations Office for Partnerships, and the United Nations Global Compact hosted the inaugural Partnership Expo aboard the world’s largest passenger ship sailing around the world for peace, sustainability, and innovation.

The Expo welcomed 600 high-level attendees including United Nations officials, representatives from Permanent Missions to the United Nations, Embassy officials, and private sector sustainability representatives.

COMMITMENT TO ACTION

The launch of the Conscious Fashion Campaign pilot program showcased fashion brands implementing the Sustainable Development Goals to address the world's most pressing issues as well as celebrated industry innovators as instrumental champions for worldwide good towards our sustainable future.

PARTNERSHIP

The Conscious Fashion Campaign, in collaboration with the United Nations Office for Partnerships and the Peace Boat, held a private preview co-curated by Celine Semaan of The Slow Factory, at the Special Reception for the United Nations High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development highlighting the importance of fashion partnerships for transformation toward resilient and sustainable societies.

Participating brands included ARANYANI, Barefoot in Business, Brother Vellies, El Voyage, Fashion for Conservation, Mara Hoffman, Michelle Pajak-Reynolds, Sarah’s Bags, Slow Factory, Studio One Eighty Nine and Veja.
