COMMITMENT TO ACTION

As part of an ambitious mission to improve excellence in the denim industry, the Kingpins Shows announced mandatory sustainability standards for its exhibitors that include corporate social responsibility, chemical usage, and the environment. In an effort to accelerate innovation and change within the denim supply chain, the Sustainable Development Goals are integrated into the global trade shows and digital ‘Kingpins24’ platform through educational programming, exhibitions, and knowledge share workshops.

PARTNERSHIP

In collaboration with the Conscious Fashion Campaign, Kingpins Amsterdam and New York hosted Sustainable Development Goals workshops led by the United Nations Office for Partnerships to amplify impact business principles. The partnership amplified Sustainable Development Goal messaging at all shows through curated panel discussions featuring denim industry leaders and United Nations agencies. It also engaged attendees at the SDG Knowledge Hub on the show floor with sustainable development programs, tools, and insights while showcasing progressive efforts in a call to the denim community to activate innovative and sustainable business practices.
