Texpertise Network links the leading international textile trade fairs across the categories of Apparel Fabrics & Fashion, Interior & Contract Textiles, Technical Textiles & Textile Processing, and Textile Care, annually hosting 58 events in 12 countries attracting more than 23,000 exhibitors and 600,000 visitors from more than 100 countries.
Texpertise Network is owned by Messe Frankfurt, the world’s largest trade fair, congress, and event organiser with its own exhibition grounds. With about 2,600 employees at 29 locations, the company generates annual sales of around €736 million. Messe Frankfurt is responsible for 423 major events each year between 155 trade fairs and 268 congresses, with approximately 99,000 exhibitors and almost five million visitors. Headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, the company is owned by the City of Frankfurt (60%) and the State of Hesse (40%).
The comprehensive Messe Frankfurt Texpertise Network covers the entire textile value chain, including research, development, yarns, fabrics, apparel, fashion, contract production, home and interior textiles, technical textiles, processing, and cleaning technologies.

COMMITMENT TO ACTION
Texpertise Network announced that the promotion of the Sustainable Development Goals will be applied to their global network of textile events by 2025.
With their SDG actions from 2019 - 2021, Texpertise Network is estimated to have reached around 146,000 visitors, 170,000 followers on social media, 2.5 million community of partner influencers, and 65,000 newsletter subscribers.
PARTNERSHIP
In collaboration with the Conscious Fashion Campaign and United Nations Office for Partnerships, Texpertise Network began with strategic Sustainable Development Goals messaging and education at the physical and digital German editions of Heimtextil, the leading trade fair for home and contract textiles and Neonyt, a global hub for fashion, sustainability and innovation. Expansion has continued to Techtextil India, Heimtextil Russia, Texworld New York City, and Apparel Sourcing USA. Sustainable Development Goal-focused activations have included the SDG interactive knowledge booth, keynote remarks, panel discussions, podcasts, press conferences, SDG networking lounges, ethical influence challenges, SDG selfie walls, and a hackathon for technical textiles and sustainability.
